I have returned here after a long break because xanga is just too slow. I purchased the fastest computer I could get this past December and I refuse to sit around and wait for xanga to slowly load.
Work today presented the usually problems but the problems are slowly working out and I can only give God the glory for His abundant grace and mercy. I just wish I could get a day to free myself from the confines of sitting in the office near the phone so that I can get out to the field and see how the work is progressing. Tomorrow won't be that day as I have someone coming in to go over another job we've been requested to do.
My son's cell phone bill arrived from Verizon today. Last month they overcharged him and they promised to correct it this month. They couldn't revise the last bill so I had to overpay the account in order to keep their records straight and to not have his records showing a balance being carried over. Anyways I open the bill and sure enough, as promised there is a credit for the correct amount on the bill. The only problem is they didn't credit my whole last payment to the last bill so he is again being overcharged. I call customer support and after going over the bill this guy "Nathan," he tells me that as a courtesy he will credit the next bill by the amount of the overcharge. I told him it wasn't a courtesy to be giving me back what they overcharged me but he couldn't see it that way. To make matters worse, I was on the cell phone and it kept breaking up. I wanted to tell him to send the "Can you hear me now?" guy over to do a reception check. So basically this guy thinks he is doing me a big favor by correcting the phone bill. I'm not sure just what the new math is all about that is being taught in the schools but believe me (no pun intended) it doesn't "add" up!!
